Great Migrations covered by the National Geographic Channel

“Great Migrations,” a seven-hour series that begins with two episodes on Sunday night on the National Geographic Channel and continues on Tuesday and Nov. 14 and 20, 2010.
“Great Migrations” has clearly been designed in response to the success of programs like “The Blue Planet,” “Planet Earth” and “Life” on BBC and the Discovery Channel.

Me too! I set the DVR, so I don't have to wait through the commercials!!!!!
Don't you love how they play it over and over again.

    OK - First 2 Episodes - Amazing
They definately knew that the butterflies would go straight to our hearts, and rightly so. Juxtaposed with the visceral effect of the carnal realities of nature, reminding us of her necessities, and that we are just one among so many. When they showed the sperm whales, I was literally at the edge of my seat, crying when these amazing leviathans gathered together, touching each other in greeting, rememberance, and just the need to feel another of their kind. Those scenes, views into lives I've never seen, These astounding perspectives just help to reinforce my deep love of these animals. NG turned each migration into a multiparted TV marathon in only 1 hour. Of course a migration is a marathon - only theirs are never ending, generation after generation (sorry for pointing out the obvious - just trying to put feelings into words.) Can't wait to see the following episodes unfold with this up to the minute HD Videography (?) technology that defies words.
    Dang! That wus good!
